These bacon deviled eggs with everything bagel seasoning are a modern twist on a classic appetizer. Creamy, smoky, and crunchy, they’re perfect for any gathering and disappear fast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large eggs
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning, plus more for garnish
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place 12 large eggs in a large pot in a single layer. Cover with cold water by about an inch. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Turn off heat, cover, and let sit for exactly 12 minutes. Transfer eggs to an ice bath and cool for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Lay 8 slices of bacon on the rack in a single layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy. Let cool on paper towels, then crumble. Set aside 2 tablespoons for garnish.
  3. Peel eggs, rinse, and pat dry. Cut each egg in half lengthwise. Pop out yolks into a small bowl. Arrange egg white halves on a serving platter.
  4. Add 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 2 teaspoons yellow mustard, 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper to the yolks. Mash until smooth. Stir in about 3/4 of the crumbled bacon and 1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  5. Spoon filling into a piping bag or zip-top bag with a corner snipped off. Pipe filling generously into each egg white half.
  6. Sprinkle remaining crumbled bacon over filled eggs. Finish with a generous pinch of everything bagel seasoning (about 1 tablespoon total). Garnish with fresh chives. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready.

Notes

Use eggs that are at least a week old for easier peeling. Oven-baked bacon cooks evenly without mess. For extra smooth filling, run through a fine-mesh sieve. Let filled eggs sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
