Ingredients

  • Aged Cheddar (200g / 7 oz)
  • Brie (200g / 7 oz)
  • Goat Cheese Log (150g / 5 oz)
  • Manchego (150g / 5 oz)
  • Prosciutto (150g / 5 oz)
  • Sopressata Salami (150g / 5 oz)
  • Genoa Salami (150g / 5 oz)
  • Honeycrisp Apples (2 large)
  • Bartlett Pears (2 large)
  • Dried Figs (1 cup / 150g)
  • Red Seedless Grapes (2 cups / 300g)
  • Fresh Rosemary Sprigs (4-5)
  • Candied Pecans (1 cup / 120g)
  • Crostini or Baguette Slices (1 baguette, sliced and toasted)
  • Sea Salt Crackers (200g / 7 oz box)
  • Pumpkin Seeds (1/2 cup / 60g)
  • Fig Jam (1/2 cup / 160g)
  • Honey (1/4 cup / 85g)
  • Whole Grain Mustard (3 tablespoons)
  • Olives (1 cup / 150g)

Instructions

  1. Take the cheeses out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving. Unwrap each cheese and place them on the board first, spacing them evenly. Cut the aged cheddar into thin slices or small cubes. Slice the brie into wedges (leave the rind on). Leave the goat cheese log whole, or slice it into rounds. Use a vegetable peeler to shave the manchego into thin, curly ribbons.
  2. Fold the prosciutto slices into loose ribbons or rosettes. Fan out the sopressata and genoa salami slices in small piles or overlapping rows. Place the meats in two or three different spots around the board.
  3. Core the apples and pears, then slice them thinly. Toss the apple slices with a squeeze of lemon juice to prevent browning. Arrange the fruit slices in fan patterns around the board, filling in gaps between the cheeses and meats. Scatter the dried figs and red grapes in small clusters.
  4. Set small bowls or ramekins in empty spaces on the board. Fill one with fig jam, one with honey, one with whole grain mustard, and one with olives. Tuck the bowls in among the ingredients.
  5. Arrange the candied pecans, pumpkin seeds, and crackers in small piles around the board. Place the crostini or baguette slices in a neat stack or fan pattern near the soft cheeses.
  6. Tuck fresh rosemary sprigs in between the ingredients for garnish. Fill any empty spots with extra crackers or fruit. Serve immediately.

Notes

Let cheese come to room temperature for best flavor. Slice apples right before serving to prevent browning. Don’t overthink the arrangement—clustered piles look more intentional. Keep the board at room temperature for up to 2 hours. For a dairy-free version, use vegan cheese alternatives or skip cheese and focus on meats, fruits, and spreads.
