A simple, beautiful charcuterie board featuring fall fruits, creamy cheeses, savory meats, and a warm honey drizzle. Perfect for Friendsgiving or any casual gathering, this board comes together in 20 minutes and invites everyone to gather around and graze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces brie cheese
  • 6 ounces sharp cheddar, sliced
  • 4 ounces goat cheese log
  • 2 medium apples, sliced (Honeycrisp or Fuji)
  • 2 ripe pears, sliced (Bartlett or Bosc)
  • 1 cup seedless red grapes, washed
  • 1/2 cup dried figs or apricots (optional)
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces salami, sliced (Genoa salami)
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (walnuts and pecans)
  • 1 cup crackers (plain water crackers or rosemary-infused)
  • 1/2 cup breadsticks or crostini
  • 1/4 cup good quality honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start with the cheese: Place the brie wheel whole on the board. Arrange the cheddar slices in a fan pattern next to it. Crumble the goat cheese into a small pile nearby. Leave some space between each cheese.
  2. Add the fruit: Slice the apples and pears just before serving. Cut them into thin wedges (about eight slices per apple). Arrange them in clusters around the cheeses. Place the grapes in a small pile. If using dried figs, tuck them between the fruit clusters.
  3. Layer the meats: Fold each slice of prosciutto into a loose ribbon and place it near the brie. Arrange the salami slices in a slight overlap pattern, with a little wave or fold for easy picking.
  4. Fill in with crunch: Scatter the nuts in small piles around the board. Place the crackers and breadsticks in separate clusters. Put crackers near the cheddar and breadsticks near the brie.
  5. Drizzle the honey: Warm the honey slightly (about 10 seconds in the microwave) until runny. Drizzle it over the brie and some of the apple slices in a light zigzag pattern.
  6. Finish with garnish: Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over the cheese and fruit.
  7. Serve immediately: Best enjoyed within an hour of assembling.

Notes

Get the cheese to room temperature before serving for best flavor. Don’t overcrowd the board; leave space between items. Warm the honey just before drizzling to prevent crystallization. Slice apples and pears just before serving to prevent browning. If making ahead, prep ingredients separately and assemble just before guests arrive.
