This Easy 5-Ingredient Candy Corn Popcorn Bark is a quick, nostalgic treat that combines crunchy popcorn, sweet candy corn, and smooth white almond bark. Perfect for Halloween or fall gatherings, it comes together in under 15 minutes and is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 cups plain popped popcorn (about 1 standard bag of microwave popcorn, popped)
  • 12 ounces white almond bark (or white candy coating)
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fall-themed sprinkles or festive nonpareils (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your popcorn: Pop your popcorn according to package directions. Let it cool for a minute, then open the bag carefully. Pick out any unpopped kernels. Spread the popped popcorn out on a parchment-lined baking sheet in an even layer to cool completely.
  2. Melt the almond bark: Break the almond bark into pieces and place them in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each one, until smooth and glossy (about 1.5 to 2 minutes total). Be careful not to overheat.
  3. Combine the ingredients: Pour the melted almond bark over the popcorn in a large mixing bowl. Add the candy corn and peanuts (if using). Use a spatula to gently fold everything together until the popcorn is evenly coated.
  4. Spread and decorate: Dump the mixture back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread it out into an even layer, about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. If using sprinkles, scatter them on top while the coating is still wet. Press down gently with a spatula.
  5. Let it set: Let the bark sit at room temperature for about 30-45 minutes, or until firm. Alternatively, refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  6. Break it up: Once set, use your hands to break the bark into irregular pieces, about 2-3 inches across.

Notes

For best results, ensure popcorn is completely cool before adding melted coating to prevent sogginess. If using white chocolate chips instead of almond bark, add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil to help them melt smoothly. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
