This Easy Caramel Apple Cider Sangria is a quick, five-minute fall drink that tastes like autumn in a glass. Perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in, it combines apple cider, dry white wine, caramel vodka, and cinnamon for a sweet, crisp, and balanced cocktail.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (960 ml) apple cider
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) caramel vodka
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) caramel syrup
  • 1 large apple (Honeycrisp or Fuji), thinly sliced
  • 23 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 cup (240 ml) club soda or ginger ale (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the apple: Wash the apple, cut in half, remove the core, and slice into thin rounds or half-moons about 1/4 inch thick. Drop the slices into a large pitcher.
  2. Add the cinnamon sticks: Toss 2-3 cinnamon sticks into the pitcher with the apple slices.
  3. Pour in the apple cider: Measure 4 cups of apple cider and pour it over the apples and cinnamon. Stir to coat the apples.
  4. Add the wine: Open the bottle of dry white wine and pour the entire bottle into the pitcher.
  5. Add the caramel vodka and syrup: Measure 1/2 cup of caramel vodka and 2 tablespoons of caramel syrup. Pour them into the pitcher and stir gently until the syrup is dissolved.
  6. Chill and rest: Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (2 hours is better) to let the flavors meld.
  7. Add fizz just before serving: Stir in 1 cup of club soda or ginger ale.
  8. Serve over ice: Fill glasses or mason jars with ice, pour the sangria over the ice, and garnish each glass with a few apple slices and a cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh, unfiltered apple cider. The apple slices will brown after a few hours; add them just before serving if making ahead. If the sangria is too sweet, add a splash of lemon juice or extra club soda. If not sweet enough, add more caramel syrup. Use a dry white wine to balance the sweetness.
