This Sparkling Cranberry Prosecco Punch is a simple, 5-minute holiday drink made with cranberry juice, prosecco, fresh orange juice, and maple syrup. It’s light, refreshing, and perfect for festive gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (960 ml) unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) prosecco or dry sparkling wine, chilled
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) fresh orange juice (about 2 medium oranges)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (use agave for vegan)
  • 1 cup (about 100g) fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced into rounds
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cranberry juice or water (for ice ring, optional)
  • Additional fresh cranberries and orange slices (for ice ring, optional)

Instructions

  1. Make the decorative ice (optional): The night before or at least 4 hours ahead, arrange fresh cranberries and orange slices in the bottom of a bundt pan or muffin tin. Pour in enough cranberry juice or water to cover the fruit. Freeze until solid.
  2. Prepare the juice base: In a pitcher or punch bowl, combine 4 cups of cranberry juice, 1/2 cup of fresh orange juice, and 2 to 3 tablespoons of maple syrup. Stir gently until the maple syrup is fully dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness.
  3. Chill everything thoroughly: Place the juice mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  4. Add the prosecco: Just before serving, slowly pour the entire bottle of chilled prosecco into the juice mixture. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Add the garnish and ice: Drop in the fresh cranberries and orange slices. If using a decorative ice ring, unmold it and float it in the punch. If using regular ice, add it now.
  6. Serve immediately: Ladle or pour into glasses, making sure each glass gets a few cranberries and an orange slice.

Notes

Temperature is everything: chill all ingredients thoroughly. Don’t over-stir to preserve bubbles. Make the ice ring the day before to save time. Keep a backup bottle of prosecco for refills. The juice mixture can be made up to 3 days ahead.
